But, I would highly recommend that you get a dedicated modem and a dedicated router. You'll be so much better off. The idea of getting a dedicated modem and router is 2 fold. #1 Heat Output. A modem and a router put out a LOT of heat. They are passivly cooled, meaning they dont have a fan to keep them cool. So what happens when you put both of these in the same enclosure? TOO MUCH HEAT. Heat is the DOWNFALL of electronics, especially networking, and even more so wireless networking. Heat near the source of wireless signal is going to degrade it drasticly. #2 Failures. If a part fails, or you decide to upgrade later, now you're forced to spend even more money. Edit: #3 Grainular control. With a dedicated modem and router you'll be able to set them up accordingly so you'll get EXACTLY what you want out of each one. It will be less hassle with a more percise control of all of your settings. Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it. Posted July 8, 2015 Author Australia has Amazon... not on Aus one, and the us one says it wont ship to Aus, probably because of wall socket differences i would assume. You should be able to do a websearch and find the models wherever you need them. Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.
