HELP ME IM NEWBIE

Go to solution Solved by ShadowCaptain,

Thank You ..

Dont bother getting the pentium, its not worth it over your current CPU

either play games at lower settings (i suggest keeping your resolution native, and keep textures medium/high and lowering other stuff like view distance and other things)

Save up and get a whole new system further down the line

neither your CPU nor your GPU are very powerful

Are you trying to play in max settings?

Try turning the setting down? Not sure what settings you're trying to run them at, or at what resolution..but that might be the problem.

i dont really change graphic settings in -game, its automatically set by default . but i always put 0 on the FXAA / antiliasing

overall it's not very powerful, I would recommend a PC Upgrade or a new PC all together

Because he had a hard drive.

OP doesn't need to upgrade to run these games, a graphics settings adjustment is likely all that's needed for the time being. If adjusting the settings doesn't help then there is an issue because I have a system that's weaker than that and it runs more demanding games than fifa fine.

@OP just adjust the settings, the auto detect on some games is shit and theres no telling what kind of performance the auto setting will get you.

New GPU. The 5600k isn't a slouch. A G3258 won't improve your performance much or at all as it has some serious frame time issues once a game is making use of 4 threads.

For $200 you can get an R9 380 or GTX960.

yeah the main issue is the GPU, the CPU while not the fastest is fine

If you want to play with better settings now get a new GPU, if you can wait, save up for a whole new system

yeah but im afraid of bottleneck ..

Well you can get a faster GPU like the ones I mentioned and continue using your A8 just fine for the most part, getting a G3258 offers 0 improvement to you right now as you are GPU bound not CPU bound.

:)
