New Phone?

Go to solution Solved by PudgyAstronaut,

If by Moto X you mean the 2014 that'd probably be my choice, I think it is a sensible, no-nonsense phone. It could be argued that the apple warranty (apple care?) could be worth it for some people, although I think the HTC m9 (not sure about m8) includes superior warranty to apple care for free. I would say the 5S is going to show its age more quickly than the others, if you really don't like the 6, then I say it's a toss up between the others, choose the one you like the feel of using the best.

Okay, I have a few choices MotoX, iPhone 5s (I hate the C and 6/6+) or the HTC One m8/m9, Not sure what one to get Specs wise, I would rather get a unlocked phone, Black is my preferable color

Just not sure what to get as I'm not much of a phone guy

I have to ask, why do you hate the 6? Having owned every iPhone, and plenty of android phones its definitely my favourite phone so far

MotoX is a nice one. HTC is also nice, but the support is, well, not good. They had issues in the past (cracked camera lenses anyone?) and they stop getting updates very quickly imho

iPhones, get out, NOW.

Its too big for me, I hate the size of a phone that big >.> I don't really like the more rounded shape

I thought that too (and I have small hands so the + was out of the question) but whenever I use my iPhone 5 spare phone, I laugh at its size and I feel like I have gone blind, or am using the phone of an ant

(My 4'10" female best friend has the same size hands as me... so yeah"

But fair enough, I would find it hard to recommender getting an older iPhone these days, the 5s is ok, but if you are not prepared to iPhone 6 then look into android - however the phones will be a similar size mostly

Well damn the HTC m9 (I knew the 5s was expensive b/c Apple but damn 650 dollars for that phone, I'll buy a 980Ti Hall of Fame first) is a bit more expensive then I thought it was... I'll probably stick with the MotoX for now, Thanks for the help guys!

I would say Moto X 2014 or the HTC One M8.

But I'm leaning towards the X because I personally think it's the better overall phone, even though the M8 is my favorite.
