So I ordered a new Seidon 120V and it was supposed to come in the mail on Monday (tomorrow). Apparently, UPS 'tried to deliver' on Friday but the receiving BUSINESS was closed, and they will make a second attempt. Apparently my house is a business? And why did they say that even though no one showed up? What is going on? And now they said my package will be delivered on Tuesday, not Monday. This is pissing me off. Someone help me?

I think there may have been a problem with something at UPS, like a sorting issue or something? Or the truck broke down so they had to postpone it?

But why would they say they tried to deliver it? It was scheduled for Monday, they tried on Friday, and now it's delayed to Tuesday? This is ridiculous; I've never had such a bad experience with UPS.

I've had worse with USPS, EMS, and Fedex. Have you ever lost a package for 4 weeks for it to turn up with your door with a sticker that says "Found in Old Machinery"?

Unless they're delivering a replacement kidney, you probably want to take a deep breath and relax a bit.

What I've seen in the past is that UPS/Fedex etc might only have a contract as far as a local USPS depot and then USPS will do the "last mile". It's happened to me before where something was marked as delivered and it was actually at a USPS sorting office and was then delivered by them the next day.

But could this mean someone else is getting my package or something? How could it be delivered to 'closed business', when they are supposed to deliver to my house?

But then they would say 'Tendered to USPS'. I've had a package like that before (FX 6300) but come to think of it, I think that was with DHL.

A lot of businesses were closed on Friday. Those packages got a scan "closed business'. Your package may have gotten this scan mistakenly.

LOL

Now that's the first time I've heard that they post a sticker like that on a package like that, "opps it seems it slipped off the converter belt when in transport"!

I know, right? I assume it was stuck in a machine they were repairing or something possibly. Wish I had taken a picture before throwing the box away. I was just happy I didn't need to spend another $100 on a phone, lol.

Very true, but why would they scan it if it wasn't even supposed to be delivered that day?

All packages have to get a scan. So that the customer can track it.

Found out what they meant by 'The receiving business was closed'. UPS was going to give my package to USPS on Friday for it be delivered to me. USPS was closed since they close at 1PM or something like that. So now, USPS has my package and it will be in my mailbox tomorrow, not at my front door delivered by the UPS truck. Makes a TON of sense now. Thanks for all the help.
