You're fine, the memory is designed to work with haswell refresh, pcpartpicker just has to add the disclaimer so no one can claim to be butthurt without the apprpriate warning....(My coffee was hot!)

I bought DDR3-2400 RAM as well. When I first booted it up, it was running at 1600. All you have to do, is set an XMP profile and you'll be taking full advantage of your RAM Even though it's higher voltage.

PCPartPicker's compatibility check is bs sometimes; this being one of those times.

Ram has a maximum supported speed without overclocking. with x99 it's 2133, and all those 2400 kits, and above are actually xmp profiles that the chips have been binned to run at. I couldn't remember what z97's max supported limits were without overclocking. While these kits do need more power than a normal set of z97, they have been tested, and found stable at these speeds, and power draw without damaging other components.

No. that's what Pcpartpicker says, and it's only partly wrong. Here is the direct quote from ASUS's product specs.
