-Gigabyte is for overclocking

-MSI is for silence

-EVGA is for longer warranty

That is all I know

Really it's all opion of which is the best,

I personally love ASUS's strix DCUIII cooler and non-ref. PCB which comes with a clock speed of 1216MHz and has a lot of headroom.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

EVGA K|NGP|N is going to be the most powerful, but realistically I would suggest the Gigabyte G1 instead, the EVGA one is going to be really expensive.

Spoiler

Case Bitfenix Ghost, Mobo Asus Maximus VIII Ranger, CPU i7 6700K @4.2 Ghz cooled by Arctic cooling Freezer i30, (barely). GPU Nvidia GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 @1519Mhz core, RAM 16Gb Crucial Ballistix CL16 @2400Mhz. SSD 128GB Sandisk Ultra Plus as my OS drive. HDD's  1TB  Seagate ST31000524AS its OEM, 3TB Seagate Barracuda, 2x 500GB WDC Blue (RAID 0)

If it isn't working absolutely perfectly, according to all your assumptions, it is broken.

Gigabyte G1, MSI or EVGA cards will generally be the best. Asus's one is pretty good if it can handle the heat output (it couldn't last time >290 -_-)

I really really wish HIS did Nvidia boards... maybe someone can hack their coolers to put on Nvidia's cards?

Either the K|NGP|N for those that want to go balls to the wall, but I'd get a G1 Gaming from Gigabyte. I don't know how the new Strix with 3 fans performs tho...

If I was getting one I'd probably go for the one from Gigabyte

The GALAX LN2 980ti is quite possibly going to be the best for overclocking.

The PCB is nuts
