$1700 is a hell of a lot for that system.  A decent i5 4690K + GTX 980Ti would generously fit in that budget.

Chrome.

....wtf you doing in chrome that uses more than 16 gigs? I've got three monitors and don't get that high. I've got five windows open with maybe 2 or more tabs per window, and still only 5.8 gigs being used.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

I used like 10 GB on idle when web browsing.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Right now in one window I have 57 tabs (give or take 3)

 

And usually, I have a 20+ tab Skyrim Modding window.

I think if I tried to have that many tabs open at once, century link would call me and threaten me lol
