$2000 workstation/gaming PC Help!

Go to solution Solved by Pizzatime6,

I only have $2000. I need a pc for video editing, audio stuff, gaming, and the usual internet browsing. I also need a 20+ inch Monitor. I want Intel . six cores is preferable. 5820k?    ( I use adobe premier, aftereffects, unity game engine ,and blender)

Must haves:

  1. Intel (six cores)
  2. Run battlefield 4 45fps
  3. Decent looking case
  4. semi-silent
  5. At least 20" monitor

Looks don't matter to me.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zvFsQ7A little over budget but I think this is a good build with a furyX.

If you go with 4930k you can afford a lot more memory, also if you are looking into video editing you'll need to consider getting a higher quality monitor, it makes a big differences.

as far as value cards go it's hard to beat the 290x right now.

this may be a bit unusual but that's what I'd go with.

also if you are going for this build I'd try looking for a 4930k used, probably won't make much of a difference on performance and I don't think i've ever seen a CPU go bad unless is from improper OC.

That build doesn't make any sense at all. You are paying way over the odds for old tech. Unless you can get the cpu for peanuts 2nd hand then the current i7 5820K can be had for $299.99
