$2000 workstation/gaming PC Help!

Go to solution Solved by Pizzatime6,

I only have $2000. I need a pc for video editing, audio stuff, gaming, and the usual internet browsing. I also need a 20+ inch Monitor. I want Intel . six cores is preferable. 5820k?    ( I use adobe premier, aftereffects, unity game engine ,and blender)

Must haves:

  1. Intel (six cores)
  2. Run battlefield 4 45fps
  3. Decent looking case
  4. semi-silent
  5. At least 20" monitor

Looks don't matter to me.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zvFsQ7A little over budget but I think this is a good build with a furyX.

Don't make 2 threads. It makes you look like a weeb.

He posted the other one in the wrong section, a mod will likely remove that one and leave this one.

To be honest i dont really want a fury x (prefer 300 series or nvidia)

FuryX is AMD's top gpu at the moment and comes water cooled. Also the stream processors make this card good for rendering and other compute tasks. 300 series are just rebrands, Your better off buying a 200 series and saving money at this point.

You kidding me? It would make a killer workstation card and can play most games in 4k with decent settings and all games in 2k max settings. It'll last you a very long time. So would a 980ti but since you're also doing work with your pc I figured you would benefit from a gpu that is better at computing then a 980ti while still giving great performance and most of the time matching or beating a reference 980ti.

If you go with 4930k you can afford a lot more memory, also if you are looking into video editing you'll need to consider getting a higher quality monitor, it makes a big differences.

as far as value cards go it's hard to beat the 290x right now.

this may be a bit unusual but that's what I'd go with.

also if you are going for this build I'd try looking for a 4930k used, probably won't make much of a difference on performance and I don't think i've ever seen a CPU go bad unless is from improper OC.
