Any Solar or Wind users?

I don't see it talked about much, but anyone out there using wind or solar for their homes, or even for other means?

 

Interested to know what sort of projects people have done using solar panels or wind turbines. Whether its for the home or just for shits and giggles.

I have a solar panel charging a battery for an electric motor on my boat lift. It is not that great, but it was a pretty inexpensive panel.

It can, though I am more interested in see what folks have been able to come up with using wind or solar.

 

This is a tech community, and people to crazy computer builds.  Wondering if anyone has been inventive with green energy.

my brother does. he lives middle of nowhere Montana in a cabin. i know he uses solar and the last time i talked to him he said he was looking into wind.

doesnt use it for much just internet laptop and a light
