Posted July 29, 2015 Author The wood and your cutting look great! Absolutely amazing! Great craftsmanship. Oh man do I wish I had the skills, tools, space and time to do something like this, once again, simply amazing! nice job BTW, where did you get the MoBo tray? that was a mobo tray right? the one you painted black? Thanks guys! The mobo tray was adopted from an old cooler master case I had laying around. I used a Dremel to cut it out, and than painted it black. Posted July 31, 2015 Author The project has been delayed a bit. I helped my dad clean up his garage in the past three days, and his garage is not small by any means. But a new update is expected tomorrow evening. Crazy Custom Wooden Case Project: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/LN8KHx
 Posted August 1, 2015 Inslagmoeren... Geweldig, ik heb nooit geweten hoe die dingen heten en dat was nuttig geweest ongeveer een jaar geleden. I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given. I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now. My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

Posted August 1, 2015 dammit, this is an English speaking forum. very few of us can speak dutch? Well, for those of us who don't, what I said was that those special nuts he has would've come in handy when I built my machine about a year ago. But back then I didn't know what they're called. And now I do because it says "inslagmoeren" on the bag. In Dutch. Still no idea what they're called in English. If anyone can tell me that'd be great. Well, wikipedia lists the names in this order: T-nut, T nut, tee nut.So technically you're not right, because it needs to be without the dash PC SPECS: CPU: Intel Core i7 3770k @4.4GHz - Mobo: Asrock Extreme 4 (Z77) - GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 680 Twin Frozr 2GB - RAM: Crucial Ballistix 2x4GB (8GB) 1600MHz CL8 + 1x8GB - Storage: SSD: Sandisk Extreme II 120GB. Posted August 2, 2015 Won't small, thin wood pieces warp if the internal temperatures in the case are constantly 50C+, as is normal in most computer cases during the summer ? They might especially warp from dramatic changes in temperature caused by turning off your PC at night. And the wood glue you've used might melt as well near the power supply exhaust or other exhaust areas of the case.
 Probably a little but changes in humidity cause more warping than changes in temperature, I would have thought. Also, with plywood it's not too bad. Posted August 2, 2015 Author Cool. Anyway, I found a store that carries them so next build I'll be able to do it properly. Yay If you need small ones, check microschroeven.nl Won't small, thin wood pieces warp if the internal temperatures in the case are constantly 50C+, as is normal in most computer cases during the summer ? They might especially warp from dramatic changes in temperature caused by turning off your PC at night. And the wood glue you've used might melt as well near the power supply exhaust or other exhaust areas of the case. I experienced wood warping a lot when building my first wooden case. It is usually caused by differences in humidity. But the humidity levels in our home are pretty constant. And I know some wooden parts will stil warp. So most of the internal part are dismountable and replaceable. The parts who don't, are reinforced with some extra wood. And the glue I am using can hold up to 60 degrees celcius. The PSU will never succeed that temperature and that is the only area where it is realy important that the glue will hold. Other parts are also reinforced in other ways. Posted August 5, 2015 Author Wont the hard drives vibrate in that cage you built? (The one with holes) or are they for the ssd? I will fill that cage up with SSD's. But if there ever has to be an 2.5 HDD in there, I left some space for anti vibrating rubber.
