Logitech Mouse Help!

Hello,

Recently my mouse was flickering lights on and off when playing PC games or surfing the web. What i decided to do is open it and replace the wire i took out my microsoft mouse wire and replaced it with a Logitech wire i noticed that the colors in the Microsoft mouse did not match the  Logitech mouse so i decided to take the cables out and place it so it could match, So i did it and it was successful everything was working lights no flicking but it said USB not recognized i tried everything nothing works i replaced the wire with the old one still did not work anyone know the issue?  I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me solve this thank you.

1. This goes in troubleshooting, not general discussion.

2. Proper grammar helps in actually understanding what the problem is. Run-on sentences suck for getting a (technical) point across.

3. Mouse model, and pictures of these wires that you have replaced would help us help you.

When in doubt, re-format.
