I'm looking for a crystal clear monitor display for gaming. Bumped onto the DELL S2340L at one of the display showcases at a mall and its display looked gorgeous.

Just wondering if this monitor is good for the money or is there other monitor around the same price offer better display experience? Because i've heard of 120GHz refresh rate and shorter response time is better.

It is a 1080p resolution display, LED backlight, 7 ms response time, 60GHz refresh rate, IPS display.

i have  2240L its same as 2340L , its an IPS panel,  it's awesome, if you are using HDMI and an nvidia card remember to change the output to Full-255 RGB in the control panel

and ignore all the response times is bad comments, i game a lot and 7ms or 1 ms you will not notice it. you may notice if its above 15 ms, but you're ok. get it.

Hey thanks for replying. :)

I heard that DELL 2340L does not come with a HDMI cable, only with a VGA cable, so which means I have to spend extra money for a HDMI cable.

I'm using AMD R9 270X.

just ask the seller nicely, he'll mostly likely give you a discount along with the monitor, idk about AMD cards, but in nvidia if you use HDMI it thinks you are using TV so it will output only 16-235 color range, everytime i install a driver i change that, just be cautious,
