What are some nice, cheap speaker stands?

Should be at least 4 ft tall

Should support standard satalight speakers

Under 40$/pair, preferable cheaper

I also made mine but with wood, 3 inch outdoor grade screws, and black paint.

Did you get new/larger speakers?

No, not yet.

But I don't want them on the floor or stacked cardboard boxes as they are now

Sometimes the best solution is the one that isn't there at all. Elevate and upgrade... 2 in 1...

There has to be a ton of used floor standing speakers online. Wives hate the damn things and husbands have to find a way to get ride of them. That's where you come in to help.

I could always do that...

I just might.

I'll go see what there is.

We used to have some about 7 or more years ago.

Not any more

Yeah... the sound quality is unparalleled, richer mid-tones, and they usually extend noticeably lower. I'd buy a bigger house before I get smaller speakers!

Why did you guys get rid of them?
