Any Tips For This Build?

benddire

That PSU is overkill and overpriced.

Don't get an AMD CPU.

You don't need 16gb of RAM, that money can be invested better elsewhere, like towards a 4690k

Can you afford to get a Core i5?

8Gb Ram is more thn enough for gaming.

Swap the Seagate HDD for WD.

you are fine with 600w PSU if you have a single 970.

Tiny bit cheaper but better performance, allows SLI in future and damn is it pretty,

Change to your case of choice if you don't like it.. (I know it's an expensive case.. but ohh so pretty)

^ $170 case and 750W PSU are unnecessary... I'd also argue the MSI 970 OP picked is better than the EVGA. Still has an unnecessary hybrid drive, nobody needs those.

The psu is currently on a great special. If you cannot get it at that price, EVGA 220-GS-0650-V1 is a good psu and has more than enough capacity.

Looks like ya plan to OC a FX quite alot, I think you should consider FX-8370 cause it uses less power and is probably a safer OCer than a FX-8320. Not to mention the FX-8370 has OC world record & better silicone thanks to it being more refined. :D
