Ripjaws(X version) vs g skill ares

Is there any problems with this ram that anyone has had or knows about. Ive brought the ripjaws before but not the ares and the ares is now on a sale so im about to get it.

Well nvm, my dad just randomly ordered 10 sticks of g skill sniper because he says they look nice. hopefully he wont notice me taking some.

Ram is ram. It's CL9 1600 so you're fine. Brand doesn't matter.

Ram is ram. It's CL9 1600 so you're fine. Brand doesn't matter.

I got a bit confused as the stick wasnt on g skills website, no ares had those timeing and the only 4x2 kits were 1333 or 1866.

Well those are 4x2GB kits (Which are terrible for upgrades) and not 2x4GB kits.

Ares s low profile version of Ripsaw series. It doesn't have fancy heatspreaders but ram benchmarks put it in same performance range. Here's link to G.Skill website http://www.gskill.com/en/finder?cat=31&series=600

I was only confused as the ram that i linked at the top isnt displayed on the website.
