Batman problems?

mystery707

I have been reading that the new batman is having major pc issues. I wouldn't say my system is the best one out there but it's pretty good. I preloaded it to my SSHD and I am having no problems at all. It's super smooth on max with everything turned on.

Heres my setup:

CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K

CPU Cooler: Corsair H110i GT

Motherboard: ASRock X99 Extreme6 ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws 4 series 16GB

Storage: Crucial BX100 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (boot drive) and a Seagate 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4GB Hybrid

Case: Cooler Master Storm Stryker (White)

Power Supply: EVGAG2 850W

8.1 Pro

Monitor: Acer XB270H Abprz 144Hz 27"

When you say super smooth, do you mean at 30 FPS or 60 FPS? If you mean smooth at 30, that's certainly debatable.

Your system is, by Rocksteady's own words, appropriate for "ultra" at 1080p and with the 30 FPS cap.

My rig is no slouch but you be a six core Intel processor with DDR4 RAM,and one of the fastest cards on the market. But I am not experiencing nearly as many issues as othes are.

I thought it was odd because I was able to run in on my 4K TV at 2048x1080 without any lag. Sometimes I get lag at that resolution. It seemed fairly smooth for 30fps but I went in and edited the ini file. I don't have an fps counter so I am unsure of how many fps I am getting.

Game runs great for me at 1080p even the in-game benchmark puts me at 103avg fps with settings maxed.

My system should be viewable in profile.

The game being smooth? Like in bursts its smooth.

The game is very choppy. I have change the cap from 30 to 60, and theres stuttering in many places. Especially when in Batmobile moving at high speed.

Most likely its smooth in 30.

I am not too excited about the 37GB download of Batman. How is the game? It's in my steam library. Is it worth it to put on my SSD or should I save it to my 2TB RAID 0?

It is a MUST to install on SSD.

Gameplay itself is pretty good. Not sure if I like vehicle sections (which is quite a bit), but there are new mixes in the combat alond with better gadget utilization. Only if the performance issue and the fact that it looks worse than PS4 issues are fixed, then this game is good.

Maybe one other complaint would be that FOV is too narrow, aka camera is too close to shoulder of a character.

I have a wireless XBOX 360 controller I use when I play Batman games. I already have Arkham Asylum. How are the graphics compared to Arkham Asylum? I have heard that Batgirl would be making an appearance in this Arkham Knight game.

I'm getting 83 fps with everything turned on except vsync at 1440p. No problems here as well. It is missing some water textures. I can't wait for them to fix it.

That system will destroy most games, but I am running 1 970 (no sli support yet) and getting an average of 40-50 with the out liers being from 27 - 80 fps. It's such a terribly ported game atm. I love my g sync monitor though, it's super smooth :D

The in game benchmark may aswell be a glass hammer. It's useless.

Yeah, the in-game benchmark works for everyone, but the game play is awesome!

The developer said there are as many polygons in Batman as there were in all of an environment of Arkham City.

I think you don't realize that the graphics are also dumped down on the PC version until they fix it.
It has missing textures, AO, and runs in DX10 if you use Gameworks so what's on your PC is worse looking than the XboxOne version.

Thanks. I was so mad though. When I received my graphics card and installed it in my system. A week later the 980 TI hybrid came out at the same price I paid for mine.
