hi,

i am looking for a new laptop and i saw something weard, a 920 with 4 gb video ram.

as far as i can find can a 920 only up to a max of 2 gb

It's an OEM chip probably. Regardless, the 920 is a terrible graphics card (similar to integrated graphics) -- as such 2gb vs. 4gb would make no difference regardless.

Yeah don't even bother with anything less than a x30m GPU from Nvidia.

Memory has always been subject to allot of marketing bullshit. Writing 4GB graphics memory and 16GB system memory on the box makes for easier sales. The high memory does in no way shape or form increase performance, all it does is reduce battery capacity and increase price.
