Nvidia 920 4gb?

hi,

i am looking for a new laptop and i saw something weard, a 920 with 4 gb video ram.

as far as i can find can a 920 only up to a max of 2 gb

It's an OEM chip probably. Regardless, the 920 is a terrible graphics card (similar to integrated graphics) -- as such 2gb vs. 4gb would make no difference regardless.

Lol.. 920 is so bad you would be better off with the integrated one .. it makes almost no difference except it will probably drain more power than necessary.

I wouldn't worry about it, the 920m will never be able to utilize all 4 gigs anyway. It's a low end mobile card to begin with and really isn't meant for gaming at all.

Memory has always been subject to allot of marketing bullshit. Writing 4GB graphics memory and 16GB system memory on the box makes for easier sales. The high memory does in no way shape or form increase performance, all it does is reduce battery capacity and increase price.
