Hello,

Friend has offered to sell I72600k, p67 sabertooth, his case (not sure what it is but its mid tower) and a 290x for around $350. I would have to get psu, ram and ssd. Would it be worth to buy those from him?

Thank you!

actually not a bad deal

Depends, maybe for a lil bit less, people who say that they 2600k is bad, stfu its a monster.

So IMO, go for it, great price and will offer great performance for basically anything ^_^

Hell yes it would.

The 2600k + 290x alone would run you about $500 alone. $350 is a steal, assuming that the hardware isn't in terrible condition.

your forgetting its used so the 290x is $200 and the 2600k is $150

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

270 on pcpartpicker... You can find them for less new, and around 200 used.. Though the cpu is worth $150 easily and the board probably another $50 - $80 depending on what it is (if something amazing, maybe $120)

A used 290x would easily go for $250. Used doesn't mean completely dirt cheap. A 290x in good condition is definitely worth $250. The 2600k was a $300 chip. So $250 for it wouldn't be unheard of. Though ti is slightly older, so $200 would be more fair. That's $450 already. And I'd be okay paying that, personally. $350 is a great deal though. Plus, this bundle comes with a motherboard too. So that's another $70. That's $520 right there.

A brand new what? 290x? Sure, if you go for the shoddy PowerColor one for $272. A decent card is going to cost you around $330. Like an MSi, Sapphire, or ASUS card.

You have to use a $30 mail-in rebate to get the card down to $276. Those don't count as actual prices.
