so i turn on my pc today and i see that little spining thingy you get when you plug in usb device. and appereantly i have an invisble usb stick plugged in in my PC.}
i'm not sure if this is harmfull or anything, but i just want to know if i should some how fix this or i can ignore it.

Do you have any devices plugged in that also contain a USB port on them?

currently plugged in devices : Mouse

USB reciver for wierless keyboard

Ethernet cable

VGA cable to monitor

thats all.

 

do u use thigns like hamachi

no i dont, unless gameranger counts as one, though i have not used it in a while.

I it probably the card reader. Open up the case and unplug the cable from the card reader to the USB header and see if it goes away. It may have "mysteriously appeared" because of a flaky chip set or a windows driver update was installed. If you do not use it just leave it unplugged.

After reading the post again it seems like the chip set for the reader is flaky. Unplug the cable and that should solve the problem.
