Razer Kraken

So, i just bought the new Razer Kraken Chroma, but for some reason the audio doesent go through the headphones, it goes directly to the monitors speakers, the headset is recognized in device manager, and drivers are installed, im using windows 8.1, ive tried both USB 3.0 & 2.0 ports... any ideas?

set headphones as default device in your sound options at the bottom right?

I've and experience with the Razer kraken. Let's say I'm using HyperX Cloud 1s right now after about 3 months of using Krakens. Also the kraken is USB ? I thug hit you could only use audio jacks atleast with the Razer kraken pros.

The headphones doesent show up in the bottom right corner.

Is the headphone LED on or not? Does it connect to Razer Synaps? If not, it's probable broken.

LED's are on, they are recognized by synapse, i can do calibration in synapse...

Go to settings -> sound-> search for 'output' and select your Razer Kraken Chroma?

He means; go to control panel, hardware and sound, sound, then under playback make sure your razer krakens are set as default device. I have the chromas too, that's how it was for me

Right-click the sound icon at the bottom left of your taskbar and click "playback devices"

Right-click your headset and set it to default.
