Corrupt windows 7 files

Go to solution Solved by EpicAdom,

I am using windows 7 ultimate on my gaming PC, but windows 7 is broken. It says that I need to re-install windows 7. The problem is that I don't have the windows 7 installation disc, but I have another pc that runs the same windows. So can I somehow transfer windows 7 from that pc to my gaming PC?

If you have an empty usb stick, you can create a windows 7 setup usb stick with the working pc and try to fix the broken one with that.

Thanks dude! Are you sure this works?

Reddit IS THE INTERNET. And the internet is always right.

Seriously tho, you shouldn't have any problems. Download the .iso from the link I gave you and then use this utility to install it onto a USB drive.

Btw, how do I install it on a CD/DVD?

Windows 7 has a built in utility for installing .iso files onto CDs

It didn't work, however I've got the error code: '' 0xc000014c '' How do I fix this?

Did this occur on the PC with broken Win7? Try doing it on your other PC.

This is on my broken windows 7 PC. What should I try to do, on my other PC?

Transfer the .iso file to your other Win7 PC with a usb drive. Then put that .iso onto a CD.

I've got a bit mindfucked. So I transfer the ISO file from my other PC, and then I burn it on a CD. Then I put the CD in my gaming PC?

Yes. Use the not broken computer to burn the iso file to a CD. Then put that CD into your broken PC. You're probably getting that error because your windows install is corrupt.

I can't use my gaming PC, I'm locked out. Since windows can't run. But I did burn the ISO file to a disk, and afterwards I've put the CD with the ISO file into my gaming computer.

Ok. I understand now. Try taking a look at this article.
