I am looking for a 7.5x10.5inch hardcase that each half is about an inch deep. I was thinking something like a pelican case but I cannot find one that is close enough to my dimensions. The reason I need this case is I want build a computer into it and use it as a portable emulator with a monitor and controllers all contained with it so you just flip it open and start playing.

Is it bad that my dream setup only costs a few thousand not counting the obutto?

Corsair 380T its portable expensive and not your dimentions but its all i know thats really portable...

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I don't mean an actual computer case. I mean something like a hard breifcase that I can mod to put a computer inside of along with a LCD In the lid of the case.

I'd probably recommend a briefcase or hardcase since it will the needed depth at 1inch per side it will be hard to fit in a motherboard with cooler and screen.

the computer will either be a raspberry pi or maybe a Pico-itx motherboard. That or maybe find a netbook. Wouldn't be as much modding, but would simplify things. Just teardown the netbook and stick it in the case with controllers and such.

If it's that small then maybe something like this with a bare LCD screen and no case:
