58°C on water is reasonable, but not yet cool enough.

AMD: Next generation I demand room temperatures under load :P

silicon doesn't like room temperatures.

Really? I thought it doesn't matter since they can be cooled using LN2? I mean, when my window was opened at night in winter, my Core 2 Duo didn't care about the water having a temperature of 3 °C

well they don't boot at negative temps at all, being cooled by ln2 also doesn't mean the chip itself is at negative temp it just brings the outside down to that while heat is still being made rapidly inside. But even then, having the chip at low temperatures provides no bonus. You need to keep it under control and that's about it.

Yep, if I can afford it, I'll only need an i7 4790K and perhaps 4x 8GB kits of RAM (I recently bought Win7 Pro/Win10 Pro) to have a computer that is future proof by my standards for a lot longer than my last rig. (Shut up, I used a single Pentium III, 20GB HDD, Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 Pro 16MB-upgraded from 8MB vRAM-and 768MB SDRAM as my desktop for more than a decade, you don't miss what you don't have).

Does that guy not know about being able to change the "Radeon" LED colour to blue? Because then it wouldn't clash with his fans (even if I hate blue, cohesion still trumps blue LED being shit)

Anyway, that is impressive. I've been worrying about how to model the air flow of my Phanteks Mini XL with one of these in my system, it's kind of a headache. Now I'm thinking I'll leave the Fury X's radiator as exhaust.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.
