Will work, but id save some money by going for 1600mhz ram (difference is almost unnoticable) and then get a bigger ssd or HDD. 500GB isnt that futureproof

The difference in a 500GB HDD and 2Tb is only about £20 anyway.

I'd say if he wanted a 2TB HDD then he'd probably just get one seeing as the price difference is minimal.  Depending on the CAS i'd get the 1866MHz RAM over 1600MHz.

Few things:

-1600 mhz RAM you can't tell a difference

-bigger HDD the price difference is minimal

-Invest in a better cpu cooler

-Zalman z11 plus hf1 would match your build better with red led

-(unnecessary) Sleeved extensions would make it look better

It will work, but it's the most unbalanced rig I've ever seen. 2 GTX 780's and your putting them in a case that cost less than £50 and looks terrible...and using a low end motherboard....weird.

to be honest the case isnt ugly i think it looks great and the motherboard i will get is a

MSI Z87-GD65

so a little bit better its not that low grade

also the reason im not getting a 1-2tb har drive is that i already have the 500gb so dont want to spend any more.

idk why people buy 500 gigs to 1 TB drives nowadays since the 2 TB drives cost almost identical to the 1 TB if you're not fussy about brand names (which is stupid to begin with unless it actually adds features and those features are worth the extra cost). It just doesn't appeal to me since I'm a cheapskate, but a cheapskate in the sense of wanting bang for my buck, I'll search for the cheapest counterparts out there before building my system since money doesn't grow on trees like it seems some people think it does.

(my biostar board is as good as any MSI, Gigabyte or Asus, oh I hate Asus but anyway, board on Z68 while it cost me half the price)

so there you have it, if you didn't already have the 500 gb I'd tell you you're crazy for not going for the 2 TB, since I'm honest like that and tend to speak my mind whenever I want.
