So... My cheap headset is now starting to crackle, unfortunately. So I think it's time for a new pair.

I want a pair that's reliable, provides excellent sound quality, is adjustable, and has 7.1 surround sound. I would prefer it to have a built in mic, but should this not be possible, I could always pick up a mod mic (even though they're kind of expensive). I'm willing to skip on the 7.1 surround sounds if it's SUPER expensive.

Any suggestions?

Actually, in general we feel that topics about gaming headsets are more suitable in Peripherals, and that the audio subforum is more for high end, audiophile grade equipment.

Really? I always though that audio stuff, even headsets, belonged there....

OK then...

Hyper X Cloud if you're looking for a decently priced and performing gaming headset.

What do they know of England, who only England know?
