Any external USB power pack should work fine.  USB->lightning cable.  If you want to attach it to your phone a pair of thick rubberbands would do the trick.

Something like this would give you 4x the capacity: http://www.amazon.com/Anker-10000mAh-Portable-External-Technology/dp/B009USAJCC/ref=sr_1_3?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1434891713&sr=1-3&keywords=usb+power+pack

I wouldn't buy "any external power bank" though. A lot are super crappy. I bought one that was $35 by Limefuel and it was the cheapest piece of crap that I have ever used. The battery reading was always off, the batteries were definitely not too reliable, and the USB ports were so cheaply made that only after a couple weeks of using it they broke. All of them. I had 2 of these power banks and I had the same issues on the 2nd one as well. It's clearly a manufacturing issue.

But anyways, I approve of Anker. I currently have their 20,800mAh power bank and it's so awesome. I've had it for a few months now, and it even survived a trip to Europe. Was there for 10 days and had to fully charge it once or twice I believe? Ya, Anker is great.

I have an Anker pack, and have since vowed to always buy anker products. I have a ton of their cables - they are great quality.

The anker pack has been through several transcontinental trips, and usually gets tossed around and beat up. Very nice fit/finish.
