"Vintage" gamer build log

so I got all the parts I need to put together my vintage gaming pc, an AMD athlon 1700+, ecs motherboard, ATi 9600XT 256mb with zalman cooler installed for max oc, 2x1gb of mushkin ddr, a no name aluminum case, a 160gb hdd(unfortunately i couldn't find my 40gb) some pink ide cables, and a random disc drive.

 

will be updated today. !!

 

now how do I get this on build logs on the wan show?

Bruh I got a p2 with and ati rage II + DVD (yup dvd was a feature in 97) so i cant wait to see this. I love retro computing <3 

Defiantly go with 98 200 isnt great in my opinion.

super excited now, i looked up oc'ing this 9600xt and apparently it has a bunch of special tweeks and even material changes to make it oc really well, people are reporting +100mhz on stock cooling and I put probably 10x better cooling on it.

Nothing on my P4 and GT 6600.

at one point I had a p4 extreme with an agp HD3850 512mb and 4gb of ddr. that was a beast old rig, sold it last year when I needed to renew the license on my car. got $125 for it.

Actually there is a ton of OS's like Minix, FreeDos. BEOS etc. Even something called Plan 9

Retro gaming is a blast and helped when i found myself getting caught up in "upgrade fever"
