Get an EVGA Supernova GS series 550W/650W (whichever is cheaper) PSU instead. Much better quality from what I can see.

I read reviews on the EVGA and a lot of people say it is loud.  So any quality 500W PSU will work?

Not well, it is an sfx unit, so it won't fit in that case right without mods.

EVGA has a lot of types of PSUs. The GS ones are extremely quiet and perform very well.

Yes, but i recommend you getting a 550W, ex : Corsair - CS550W
