I recently just got a 900D, (yesterday)  and I need some fans to replace the exhaust+ intakes.  Right now I'm using 2 noctua nf-f12 in the front as intake, and I turned off the stock intake fan, (it's ridiculously annoying) I can't even hear my pc with the door closed and my room dead quiet.

I'll be watercooling sometime this or next week so I need to use those 2 nocuta's on my radiators.

Does anyone know what I can use in the front as intakes? I don't mind noctua's fans at all.

There is a fan filter+ the front panel cover thingie in the way, and also my drive cage is right in front of the intakes, so IDK if I should use "Airflow" fans, seeing as there's so much stuff in the way.

But for the exhaust, I'll need something a little better than the stock corsair af-14L that comes with the case, (i'm using the mobo to undervolt it right now via the bios fan settings but it doesn't move much air now)

I was looking into maybe a silent wings 2 140mm fan that someone suggested awhile back, but i'm unsure if it actually performs as good as people say it does since I have no experience with those.

So what I need is 3 120 mm's and a 140 mm.

So basically I'm looking at the noctua s12a PWM as intakes maybe, and to move the drive cage into the basement of the 900D. I think that may be my best bet?

Any help is great, thanks!

BeQuiet! Noiseblocker and Noctua are your best bet on silent fans mate :) Noiseblocker ELoops are my personal favorite but won't have a 140mm version until a few months from now I think

do you know the names of the ones I should look at? I don't mind noctua's colorscheme at all, you get used to it pretty fast lol

For front intake I'd just go for any high static pressure fan like an NF-F12.

for the exhaust just use any fan that moves plenty of air (has 80+ CFM) and runs quietly.

Cougar Vortex fans,Xigmatek AOS,NZXT airflow,Bitfenix spectre pro,etc.

BeQuiet Silent Wings. i've only used these once before as they aren't really that available in Australia. but they are pretty awesome fans

Noiseblocker ELoops, they come in a variety of rpm's. Also if you want red by any chance Phobya do a red version of the ELoop that spins at 1600rpm, they might be a little loud though.

If you don't like the white then Noiseblocker BlackSilentPRO's are all black and also come in a variety of rpm's.

As for Noctua the S12a/s12bFLX/s12bULN are all dead silent fans, but if you keep the drive cages behind them they won't have much static pressure to push air through them, so if you keep them up in the top maybe look at NF-P12's or even NF-F12's

depending on how my rad in the basement fits I may just move the drive cage there because then all I'll see is just the mobo+res when i look in the side window.

If it works that way I'll get 3 s12a I think, and then I may get a bequiet silent wings 2 140mm for the exhaust since it's black and won't stand out as much

You could even get a 360mm rad in the front and just buy 1 extra NF-F12 and rely on that as an intake? Then you'll have plenty of room for drive cages in the bottom

True, I was planning 2 480 mm rads but the guy thats going to help me do it all said he was putting together a new list for me and to stay away from EK products.

I was going to buy EK parts, I hear horrible things about them now so I may steer clear.

Yeah? I've only had good experiences with EK blocks.

A few people on the forums have had bad experiences with their customer service after having issues with parts, I won't say any names though out of respect for them
