Old-People friendly printer/scanner recommendations?

Hello friends,

Curious to know if any of you have recommendations for printers which are easy for older people who are not tech savvy to use. There are a few main things I'm looking for in this, and I'm not sure where to start.

 - Easy to use menu interface: They primarily use it for word documents, both printing and scanning. Color is not necessary

 - Toner is preferable: I am called to replace their ink, despite showing them how to every time, so since toner will last longer that is preferable

 - Wireless: I'm going to be setting their machine up, so wireless will make it easier for them to be able to print from wherever they have their laptop, rather than being mad they can't print because they forgot to plug in a cable or something.

Thanks for your suggestions!

HP Deskjet 2540?

Arent really that many buttons, so not many ways for an old person to press something and fuck it up :P I have a similar printer, HP is generally pretty good in the printing department so really no need to worry about quality issues, Ive had mine for years now.

MG5320, my grandma uses it and really easy. 6420 is also great other grandma has that. Then again one grandma (80+) has an iphone ipad mini and a mac so shes good with tech for her age. Both reliable printers though

Make instructions on how to replace the ink...

You want old people to scan documents? And run a wireless printer? What if the link goes down?

You're asking too much. You want a simple laserjet compact unit that just PRINTS in black and white and the only button on it is to clear a paper jam. Xerox Phaser is a good unit to go with. Cheap and cheerful.

Don't get into scanning with old people they'll just call you every time they attempt to scan something and fuck it up. Most old ppl are too stupid to use tech.

Intel Inside. Overweight guy in his 30's outside.
