Hey all, I am building my first PC and am stuck on what case I would like.  I was looking at the Be Quiet! Silent Base 800, Phanteks Ethoo Luxe and Corsair Vengeance C70.  I want a clean looking case with good cable management and good airflow because r9 290's are hot and loud beasts.  I do not have a preference on mid or full size towers. My budget for a case is $150.00 USD.  Keep in mind that I will be removing the hard drive bays because I already have a 4tb external hard drive (r9 290's have troubles fitting in cases because of their length of 30 cm).  Here is my build:

NZXT h440 is what I'd get. It comes down to personal preference though. It doesn't have a disc drive port AFAIK? I have no Idea why it doesn't but who uses a disc drive anyway. I wouldn't buy that power supply for that system. You can really only justify needing 1200w of power if you're doing quad-SLI Titan Xs or something crazy. The EVGA 850G2 would be great for your system

The first thing I have to ask, are you just gaming?

If so, then you don't really need X99.

Secondly. ThermalTake Core X9. Yeah it's $19.99 over budget, but it's completely worth it unless you absolutely cannot squeeze that amount of money into the build.

Granted it is big and has no noise cancelling stuff, but with that many fans, you could set them all to low and have very little noise. (if you can't fit them all to the mobo, you can put Noctua low power/noise adapters onto the cables and achieve the same thing)

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

Anidees AI6. Its a beaut to work with: quiet, good airflow and very roomy. Its a very clean and smooth outer design too. The un-insulated versions has about 3mm more clearance behind the motherboard tray for easier cable management.

The Rainbow X58: i7 975 Extreme Edition @4.2GHz, Asus Sabertooth X58, 6x2GB Mushkin Redline DDR3-1600 @2000MHz, SP 256GB Gen3 M.2 w/ Sabrent M.2 to PCI-E, Inno3D GTX 580 x2 SLI w/ Heatkiller waterblocks, Custom loop in NZXT Phantom White, Corsair XR7 360 rad hanging off the rear end, 360 slim rad up top.
