My "X" key does not work....well sorta

The "x" key on my CM Storm Quickfire TK does not work on a single key press, however upon pressing the key 5 times consecutively it outputs "xcvbn". I have tried different USB ports, restarting my PC and plugging it into my laptop all to no avail. Any and all advice or help is greatly appreciated!

Sounds like the key is dead/malfunctioning like in the hardware, but im not sure could maybe be a software error

well i guess it fixed itself as it is now working as i type this response.

i was going to say it was weird that it still output consistently after five key presses.
