Hi ;) So I just bought my PC about 2 days ago and the parts will be arriving Tuesday. I was just doing some tests for games on the game-debate website and it says that my CPU is a Bottleneck....

I want to be able to run all games maxed out on ultra on 1080p, will that be an issue with the CPU? Or the computer in general?

Here is what I ordered.

No, it shouldn't bottleneck your system. I don't use Game-debate as a proper metric of performance.

game debate is worthless.

Perfect so. I'll stay away from game debate from now on. Is there any other side which is better for entering specs? Since I don't have the computer yet to run the 'canirunit' test.

I can tell you straight away that your CPU will not bottleneck your system - if you're wondering how a particular card performs in titles, reviews are your best bet. You can find 970 reviews at Hardware Canucks, Anandtech, TechPowerUp, and Tom's Hardware.

IMO the only good "can i run it" source is personal experience. there is too many factors, too many games and too much hardware to have a site like game-debate even make sense.

example: i researched into the site's credibility using the minecraft/intel HD graphics issue. basicly theres a glitch between minecraft and intel HD that makes the game unable to run higher than 30FPS, if it reaches that at all.

gamedebate didnt pick up on this at all, and gave even the lowest intel HD graphics a clean pass.

Anandtech has a very good comparison thing called Anandtech Bench

It has GPU 2015, 2014, etc (not very far in past) along with SSD, CPU, and devices like laptops or tablet benchmarks.

You can only compare two at a time though.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

...

Use the cpu benchmarks of various titles to see if a cpu will "bottleneck" (aside: I really, really, really hate that term) a gpu. http://www.techspot.com/review/734-battlefield-4-benchmarks/page6.html for example shows various cpu in BF4 using an R9 290X. Presume +/- 1 fps as a margin of error. See just how far down the list one must go before there is a significant drop in fps. All those cpu with ~97 fps are being bottlenecked by the R9 290X. Your cpu is slightly better than the i5-3470. Your gpu is slightly worse than the R9 290X. Therefore, your gpu will bottleneck your cpu, not the other way around.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
