Getting new internet from Comcast (Ugh) Need help picking network parts

So my dad ordered comcast services this morning and plans to get it soon.

 

I need help picking out a wireless access point and a modem for our house, it's a 3 story house with 5 people using the internet, two of them are heavy users of it.

 

The speed we're getting is 50/50

A decent router like a Asus-AC66u/ ac-68u and a accespoint or range extender should do.

You can't go wrong with Ubiquiti, just depends on what standard you want to use, N or AC. You didn't specify if there are any ethernet users and if you have data installations in the house.

No one in our house uses Ethernet so no need for that kind of thing.

Just get the Unifi AP AC, ARRIS cable modem and the router. Connect them up, configure them and you are done.

Side note, the ARRIS Modem is only a modem, it cannot route so you will need a router, the one I linked is pretty good. You could instead go with a router/modem device but they are a little more expensive, plus if you ever move to anything other than cable you won't be able to use it.
