What are your thoughts on USB C on smartphones?

I'm waiting, i was actually expecting a few 2015 non-nexus flagships to have it, but I guess they all stuck with MicroUSB... Probably due to Android L.

 

It'd be cool to see what we can do with it on smartphones.

Intel i5-6600k (Cooled by a 212 evo) - Asus Z170-A - Asus Dual OC GTX 1060 - NZXT S340 - WD 1TB (Getting SSD this month, hopefully) - 8GB DDR4-2400

Like lightning, but wont break as much

When a "new" standard is created I always tend to think that I'll take years for a full compability with all peripherals. I found USB type c a new way to finally create a very small and fast usb conector, however I think I'll be very fragile.

Thoughts; needs to be on all mobile phones ASAP, cable costs need to come down, basically should replace any device using the Micro USB connector.
