At the moment I have a V3-571G (4GB Version)

If I bought a Asus 100TA do you think I would notice much difference? Cause its half the ram and its quad core but lower clock speed?

Just keep your current one. I'm pretty sure it will be a downgrade instead of an upgrade.

Get a refurb/used thinkpad!

Cheap, high quality notebooks.

 

For less than the 100TA you can get an X220, thin and light, i5, 4gigs of ram. You could probably find a better deal if you look around.
