Made old laptop in to a all in one pc

One day I was board and i had 2004 laptop beside me then I thought to my self why not make it an all in one. All i did was take off the keyboard and plastic frame then took off the screen and stick it on top of the pc and there you go. I am going to get a dremel soon so i can finish attaching the screen to the case.  You can get the pics here : http://imgur.com/a/5JLVs

It's simple yet it work. But I would build a stand for it like a real monitor. Also, I would considering opening the case up and turning it the other way for better cooling, or just replacing the stock cooling altogether but that might be more of a complication than a benefit. :D

Right know i have to lift up the monitor to turns it on hoping to get a piece of plastic to sick on it so when i screw on the screen i can turn it on. and thanks for the help.

Why not just take the power button out and use a plastic gun to stick it on the monitor, that way you can have it more accessible.

Forum rule: Fix your sig, it can't be more than 3 lines long, and yours is just overkill. :D

i fixed and i can not move the power button ( it plugs in on a pcb so i can not move it )

i fixed and i can not move the power button ( it plugs in on a pcb so i can not move it )

Wanna try soldering it off, soldering on two wires and extend it? :)
