Will 750w PSU be enough for my new budget-mid build?

A CX750 would be more than enough. You could get away with 500W on that build. If you're looking at crossfire in the future, I would look at a slightly higher quality PSU.

Hi!

I am looking forward to replace my old PC, however I am not sure if this 750w PSU(Corsair CX750) will be enough?

Motherboard: Asrock Z97 Anniversary

CPU: Intel i7-4790K

Video card: Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 290

Memory: 16gb 1866mHz DDR3 Kingston Hyperx

HDD: 1x7200rpm 2TB + 500gb SSD

+ some Bluray player/writer.

Thanks!

290 uses quite a bit.  750 is a good choice.

System load with an i7-4790k and R9 290 is about 380W. 750W is double that. Overkill.

You should go with a 650W at MOST. But it's your option and nothing wrong with overkill

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel

After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

The Corsair CX isn't the best in terms of quality, but it will power your system ok.
