I know how many watts I need but I was wondering what PSU you would recommend? It has to be 600+ watts and between 0-150 dollars (AUD). Any help is much appreciated!

I would use a corsair power supply, they are my go to and almost all of them have 80+ ratings

Is it modular? I'm assuming that it is based on the cables. If it is, you just sent me everything I wanted.

It is fully modular. The G2 is a very good psu.

Be quiet PSUs are good noise wise, also have no electrical noise, although their performance at 115v range isn't as good as other PSUs, if you have 230v power, the be quiet PSUs are better compared to other PSUs.

Alot of PSUs that advertise silent active fan mode are outright lying, seasonic is one those liers.

80+ rating is for electrical certification, not quality. Quality is something that almost all corsair PSUs except the AX series seem to lack.

I am aware, it is efficiency ranking which can contribute towards the overall quality of the PSU

Not necessarily.  A 10$ PSU can be "rated" for 80+ gold efficiency but that doesn't mean it won't blow up after 1 use.
