Custom 360 fan grill?

1Scotty1

Hey,

sorry, if this is the wrong sub-forum, but...

I am looking for someplace that sells custom 360 fan grills/meshes - I will be doing a front panel mod on my H440 and I want something nice there instead of just a gaping hole :)

Thanks a bunch, cheers

Probably better in the modding section.

As for fronts Performance PC's might have something like this which would work:

Yeah it's not what I would call affordable. It is a billet of aluminum and CNC work so it usually isn't going to be cheap. I believe they do have acrylic ones also for less and if you u've access to a laser cutter or fabrication shop locally they could possibly do it for you.

Depending on the opening some mesh material to allow for airflow but hide direct view of the fans would work. Another individual was also doing a mod for get better airflow in their H440.

Something like this solar screen material:

I don't mind the fans being exposed, I just want a filter or grill there to keep the dust out... I don't know if a simple rectangle cut-out will look good... check my build log here, I want something like this, but a nice grill on top of it -> http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/257759-first-build-project-yin-yang/?p=5136361

He replied :) It can be done, all he needs are the dimensions and a mockup of the design, nice :)

If you have access to a metal shop, you could design it your self and have it cut :)
