I've read a few posts on people achieving 5ish GHZ on water with 3930k's, so I'm hoping to push the envelope if I can :D

I think I may be able to get 5.2 or so tops, but I'm hoping to go for broke. (Intel tuning plan)

So far I've been able to get as high as 4.65 with my h100i cooling it at around 81 C

I'll be posting my results in this thread soon of what I achieve, with some benchmarks maybe+ pics.

Also does anyone here know of anyone with 5+ on water? If you do maybe you could ask them if its temps that gave them their limit, or stability.

hmm, mine are 9 mm thicker and 3 extra FPI, I'll be getting 2 480's, so I'll try and see what kind of OC's I can get.

I think I should be able to keep up with his temps hopefully, he has to add more voltage than I do for what he said his 4.5 OC was. He's using 1.38 and I only had to push 1.36 so I think I'll be able to get 5 with 1.5-1.52 instead of the 1.535 he's using (hopefully)

I can always add another 240/360 in front if I absolutely have to, so I can get that 5+ clock :D

I didn't know how else to word it, I wasn't trying to come off as cocky :s

I tried re-wording it but it looked funny lol

1.5V is degrading the chip as is though, doesn't matter how hot they get. Chances are these chips will die within 2 years if they are stressed enough times at 1.5+V
