Audio Editing & Recording etc.

Hey guys. 

So, I see it's mostly all about gaming in here... BUT, I have a few questions about editing. 

What I'm going to have is a lot of sound input throudh a fairly large external soundcard (studio style), and I'm going to record & edit this. That means a fairly heavy sound editing software, and going for mostly 10-15+ tracks that are full of VST plugins etc. etc.  

What kind of specs would you recomend boosting for this kind of rig?
