help my minecraft isint working

when I try playing mine craft it gets stuck on downloading terrain then when it loads after a few minutes I come into the game, the game the acts like a server that has 10000 ping is there anything I can do to fix this

yeah it looks like your game is just overwhelmed by whatever the serve is sending it =P

 

 

more ram should help it keep up

 

 

its in the launcher setting befroe you launch the game. You might even be able to set that to a profile basis or maybe thats just the technic launcher.

 

Backup Solution go get the Technic launcher and just run Vanilla Mine craft out of that.  I Personally like the Techinic launcher alot more back when i used to play minecraft

It automatically allocates 1gb to itself.

Try reinstalling.

I have had the same problem before. It is because either A: to many mods or B: to little RAM. Try 2 or 3gb it shoud work after that.

Is your render distance too high? I had the same exact problem and turning down render distance fixed it

I have the same problem the odd times I try to play it.

This happens when your hard drive is in high use. Are you searching for files or running an antivirus scan? Check task manager and see what is using the most disk. High disk use can cause lag in SP similar to multiplayer.

i have had this problem since i built my computer i have even tried to playh it without having any anti viruses

Damn, you should have invested in a better CPU.

So make sure you have 64 bit Java and the most recent if possible. Then allocate some more ram to it (max I would say is 4 GB)
