The Shures are 140$ while the M50x are 200$

Your phone will easily drive either of those headphones to ear destroying levels; drivability is not a function of ohms (alone) but of sensitivity. The M50x is fairly overpriced so I wouldn't recommend it.

Well, I read here that ath m50x is overpriced. When they came out, with the beats as a baseline, they were pretty much one of the better value headphones.

The M50x was never a good value. The M50 was a good value when it was $100. Then the M50x came out at $170 and continued to ride on the hype train of the M50 even though it was a considerably poorer value proposition.

so your saying that I should go with the Shure?

Also the reason their priced like this is becuase this is israeli priceing, they tend to get somewhat higher then your average price

for example:Amazon:150$

Israel:200$

and for Shure amazon:150$ ,well thats funny becuase shures here cost 140 without tax or shipping, probobly their more connected to israel.

I don't have any experience of the Shures. All I'm saying is think twice before you pull the trigger on the M50x, because they are overpriced. If you can find the M40x they are a better value.
