Hello, first of all, I'm sorry if this is considered the wrong forum to ask, but I would rather not ask in just air cooling or water cooling because of the nature of my question.

Basically, I want to know what the quiet, most efficient cooling for a cpu is for under $100 CAD; be it air cooled, or water cooled (preferably closed loop).

If I go with water cooling, my case will only allow for a 120mm radiator.

Thank you for answering if you do.

Edit: Max height my case can take is 155mm (6.1 inches)

A picture of my PC to give an idea of the limitation's I'm dealing with. (disregard the wiring. I took a picture just after everything was in. I have since cleaned the wiring up.)

Corsair H60?

air coolers like the NH-D15 perform a lot better while still being quieter

uless you want AiO for looks, anything under a 240mm radiator is not really worth it compared to air coolers

Corsair H60?

EDIT: Did not see the quiet part, I only saw the efficient. Disregard unless you are planning on getting quiet fan(s) and this was supposed to go on my earlier post lol :)

My CPU temp never goes above 52 degrees when folding 24/7 overclocked to 4.37 GHz with a H60

well thats because you have an AMD CPU and 52C is normal

a NH-D15 is still a lot better than a H60
