define R5,

define S

define s seems to have less silent properties compare to r5 tho. Then h440 is better than define s?

Not custom cooling so the front is rather very bare.

I haven't come across any reviews comparing the R5 and S. The R5 does have an additional dampening foam in the front which is positioned fairly close to the front fans, whereas the S lacks said foam. However, eliminating that, the S and R5 are almost the same in terms of sound cancelling.

H440 or r5 are both fine. It's up to you at that point which one you want. It's also depends on the parts you choose, like if you have a AIO it's not gonna help much as if you had a nice air cooler.

only on silent features, r4 and r5 have what difference? I can get a very good deal on r4 for now.

All cases are silent, it is the fans and other components like the GPU, HDDs, PSUs and water cooling pumps that make the noise. Even if you have a case with noise dampening you can still hear noisy components.

My advice, choose a case you like and then get proper fans, PWM would be best. If you are going to water cool your PC, which is the best thing for silence and performance, then, low fin density radiators with low noise high static pressure fans are best for silence as well as cooling performance as well as a D5 pump and watercool your GPU as well..

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

AIOs are not as quiet as a Air cooler. It's just not.. Something like the BeQuiet! Dark Rock 3 or Noctua Dh-15 is way quiet and can perform close to the x61 kraken temps wise. Yeah you won't get as high as overclocks but you'll get what your looking for more than likely. Water cooling also has more moving parts.

I don't like AIOs as i too know they are very noisy and problematic, well most of them are. I am talking custom loop and a custom loop with low fin density radiators with like high static pressure fans at around 1000-1100 rpm will be more or just as silent as any air cooler and will perform better. As for the "more moving parts", this is true but if you use good components you will be amazed at the silence and performance you can get. Price/budget on the other hand....well....air coolers and what ever comes with the components will always win in that category.

a custom loop can cost quite a bit to get what you are looking for and to actually make it look nice. Plus atleast with AIOs or some of them they'll replace any parts damaged from leaks or such. I do agree a custom loop can be near silent if done correctly.

Most companies who sell AIOs only give warranty for the AIO itself but not any other components that are damaged.

the Corsair H100i or any of the H100s will. Maybe the x61 kraken but they stress test it before it leaves the factory so maybe not for them.

Fractal Define Series (minus the define S or any window variants) R5 non windowed is king from fractal 2nd best current one would be XL R2
NZXT H series (preferably nothing with a window) H630 is best NZXT has
BeQuiet Silent base 800
CoolerMaster Silencio series 652s is best they have
Corsair Obsidian 550D Quiet Case

there you have it, I just gave you plenty of options and told you what's probably best from some of the bigger companies

With silence comes very restricted airflow....

Go for a Phanteks Enthoo Pro

second time I hear the same answer from you which actually makes me really interested in this particular case haha.

h630 happens to have great offer for now too. Even better than h440? Because it is cheaper and lack of reviews

in terms of sheer Silence yes, more volume(from being bigger) means you can have more/bigger fans to push the same amount of air at lower volumes/rpms , No window by default window=less sound dampening material and windows can also vibrate ontop of the panels vibration so lack of that plus more dampening foam means again lower possible noise,  also the extra volume would also allow for easier watercooling which if properly optimised can be quieter than just about anything short of passive or semi passive air cooling... If you want reviews check Hardware canucks on youtube or just look at H440 reviews it's the same case with no window and bigger, what could possibly go wrong? It's a case not a graphics card...The difference between H440 and H630 is basically Define R4 w/ Window vs Define XL R2 without Window

You can get windowed panels for H630 I do believe Austin Evans *Youtube channel* has a build using H630 with an aftermarket sidepanel with window and then it is just a bigger H440

Also that grammar in second sentence, "I like window although it has less silent option" seems a tad caveman to me. I know already english probably isn't your main language being in malaysia; unless I'm mistaken even though would've been better than although, and it is, not has... and silence instead of silent option, ect... would've made it easier to read just saying to help you; Trust me you're speaking English much better than I can speak French or Spanish my extra languages

getting aftermarket side panel is kind of hard here in Malaysia. And I prefer a smaller tower as the pc is placed on my table and I don't have a large table.
