Hi, so my windows 7 operating system is a little bit corrupt and i'm going to reinstall it. But I can't figure out how to reinstall without losing games (I could redownload them but my internet is very slow and it would take hours) and other files.

Thanks.

Its not possible to do as if you clone the system, windows will still be corrupted. I recommend doing a clean install. It will be less of a headache in the end.

have you tried repairing the Windows with the Win disc?

If you have enough space then run the installer, it will automatically detect that there's another install of windows on the drive and rename it to windows.old, after you are back to the desktop then you can go through the windows.old folder and find your game files and move them to where ever and you'll be set.

I tried windows repair which didn't really do anything. I'll try reinstalling then looking through windows.old

and yes I'm going to backup everything incase it fails.
