I'm looking on cases for when I'm building my pc, I want a silent case and I'm thinking about one of two cases. Fractal design define r5 and the BE QUIET! Silent base 800, I like the looks of both of them and portability shouldn't be a problem, if I need to take it some where I'll just drive. But which of these cases are most silent, I like the looks of both, and if you have any other suggestions on silent cases that would be appreaciated. But what you suggest might not be able to get in Norway.

Thanks in advance. :)

I have the fractal design R4 and I can say when you've got all of the noise dampening foam around the case it's silent, but if you're like me who removed the pads on the top of the case to put my radiator and fans then no, it's not silent and honestly I wouldn't say it's much quieter than a normal case!

i have a define r5 for the wife's computer having added an extra 140mm phantex fan cuz, why the hell not lol. with the fan controller set to medium it is silent. its also a great case. I've heard good things about the H440 as well. however, I have to give the define r5 a huge recommend. It is a phenomenally great case.

My rig:
CPU: i5 4690k 24/7 @4.4ghz (1.165v) Max 4.7ghz (1.325v) COOLER: NZXT Kraken X61 MOBO: Asus Z97-A   RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical   GPU: EVGA GTX 970 SSC   PSU: EVGA GS 650W   CASE: NZXT Phantom 530 HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB + WD Black 2TB

So basically

silent base comes with 3 fans, has watercooling suport on top of the case for a 280 rad (not sure) and has better side ventilation if you choose to use it

The r5 has tons of flexibility you can put a 360 rad in front or a 240 on the bottom and move the hard drive cages around to suit your needs.

it comes with only 2 fans and putting a radiator on top is not ideal because of the moduvent system the define r5 has has a fan controller and it's fans go slower so it is more quiet

If you use a fan controller on the silent base it is similar however
