1440p can i run it?

Makmarian

GeForce GTX980Ti 6GB

Intel Core i7-4790k

Corsair Hydro H100i GTX

MSI Z97 GAMING 5

Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 16GB

Samsung 850 EVO 120GB SSD

Seagate Barracuda 2TB

Corsair Graphite 760T Big Tower

EVGA SuperNova 750 G2

Im planing on buying this build.

Can i run 1440p on  ≥60fps?

Monitor: GW2765HT

BTW: Is this monitor good for gaming? I play CS:GO on a AOC 1080p IPS with (6 ms i think) from time to time, and i have no problem with that whatsoever.

The gpu will run most games at 60fps+ on max settings .

The LG is a way better choice monitor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005632

Competitors like the GW2765HT has a frame of input lag, a perceived black depth ruining glossy black bezel, worse colour presets, no hardware calibration and slower pixel response times.

If it's too expensive , there's the next best thing for gaming , the  Asus PB278QR at a great deal now http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-PB278QR-27-inch-Monitor-1000/dp/B00LGE29SK . It is PWM/Flicker Free, delay free unlike most of the multi-input 1440p monitors and is noticeably faster pixel response time wise (ghosts less)

Easily, could even crack 60fps at 4k in most games

He plays CS:GO, so I doubt he'll go for 4k as you want to keep your FPS as high as possible.

But yeah, no worries for that 1440p :P

If it can play 4K, 1440p will be much better  :P

He could probably run CS:GO at 4k at like 200fps

A 980 can easily do 140fps at 4k
